Relief Supplies Packed for Joplin
Thanks to hundreds of supporters in the Bennetteville area and the hard work of the many volunteers the 28 ft truck donated by SAIA is loaded and ready to make the trip to Joplin for distribution to the residents affected by the deadly tornado on May 22, 2011.
When the idea of helping tornado victims came up the first few contacts were so positive about helping out that it made everything else fall into place. When Jenna Kinard reached out to Mr. Jamie Grant of SAIA trucking company he began doing what he could and was able to secure the transportation to Joplin. Because of this generous donation we were able to puchase more supplies for the tornado relief effort.
