When it comes to being helped after a disaster strikes the people of Bennettsville know first hand how good it feels when people reach out to help others during difficult times. In March 1984 strangers from all over the country send supplies here for the tornado victims and today Bennettsville is returning the favor and colleting much needed items to send to Joplin, MO.
