Bennettsville to reach out to Joplin storm victims

In March 28, 1984 a tornado devastated Bennettsville, SC and after seeing what has happened in Joplin MS we are banning together to collect relief supplies just as others banned together to help our community.

Since March 31, 2011 half
of the United States has been affected by damaging weather from North Dakota to
the East Coast.  2011 has been the
deadliest year for tornadoes since 1953.
Over the last few months, there have been over 500 deaths and thousands
of homes and businesses destroyed by these storms.

Right here in our area we
experienced this same devastation in 1984.
People came from all over and assisted our community.  It is our turn to give back!!!!
